University Guidance and Preparation
Personalised Guidance from MYP to Graduation
From the Middle Years Programme through to graduation, students benefit from the support of a dedicated University and Careers Counsellor, who provides personalised advice at every stage. Using tools such as Habilmind, which helps students identify strengths and aptitudes, and Unifrog, a comprehensive platform for university research and application tracking, students receive guidance tailored to their individual ambitions.
Structured Support
Our school offers a personalised, step-by-step guidance programme that supports students from their first exploration of university and career options through to successful admission. Led by our University and Careers Counsellor, the programme includes strategic application planning, aptitude testing, and guided use of international university application platforms.
Global University Applications Expertise
As a UCAS-certified centre — the official application system for UK universities — and a Common App partner, which allows students to apply to multiple US and international universities through a single platform, La Miranda provides comprehensive support for applications to Spain, the UK, the US and beyond. With the support of trusted admissions partners, we help students navigate competitive application processes with confidence and secure places at top institutions worldwide.
Career Exposure and Real-World Insight
Students benefit from career workshops, university fairs, guest lectures, and preparation sessions that provide first-hand insight into academic and professional pathways. Internship opportunities further enhance this experience, while many of our teachers and parents contribute expertise from professional backgrounds outside education, helping students better understand real-world challenges and opportunities.
In addition, La Miranda has established collaboration agreements with several leading universities, including ESADE, ESIC, EAE, Hult, and La Salle. Through these agreements, students may access benefits such as personalised admissions guidance, free workshops, invitations to webinars and major events, private campus visits, and direct communication between La Miranda and university admissions teams. In some cases, these collaborations may also include financial incentives or scholarships.
International Collaboration and Best Practice
We collaborate closely with Inspired Education University and Careers Counsellors around the world to share best practices, experience, tools, and resources, ensuring our students achieve the best possible outcomes.
Thanks to our comprehensive and individualised guidance, students leave La Miranda confident and fully prepared to succeed in higher education and their future careers.
